Multiple roles were required with a quick turn around. However the prospective talent pool was modest due to the niche technical nature of the product and roles and multiple other firms had failed to fulfil. Location was also a hurdle, with relocation required and competitors offering remote working, this caused a barrier for candidates, further decreasing the size of the talent pool. In addition, market inflation, particularly in this sector, was creating a culture of unrealistic and unsustainable salary expectations from candidates.
Objectives
The clients requirements were to find and attract the very best technical specialists for multiple on-site roles within development. The roles varied in seniority and specialisms from design and development right the way through to performance and simulation.

The Search
A dedicated research team were allocated to the account, engaging with our extensive network across North America. Strategic executive search was also implemented to engage with the relevant talent pool on a global scale using our precise talent mapping analysis.
Ongoing Support
We worked as an extension to their internal HR and engineering teams, taking time to understand the business requirements, what was needed to create a clear and precise direction for progression and vision for the business in addition to delivering a streamlined and efficient recruitment process. Weekly meetings were implemented as well as ongoing support with on boarding new hires.
Above and Beyond
We provided free of charge services to assist their business strategy including sharing insights into the rest of the market and outlining competitors strategies and performance. In addition, although there wasn't a specific focus on diversity for this search, we did increase ethnic minority and female diversity across the engineering teams. Sharing resources to contribute to their own EDI development.
